# 3d assets

A great 3d immersive scene is like a good dish - it should contain great ingredients. And for us, ingredients are 3d assets. 

It is always a problem to find good assets, but here is a list of hints and amazing resources where you find good items.

* **Polycam** - iPhone / Android app that you can use to scan items from real life and transfer them into amazing 3d assets. <https://poly.cam/>
* **Sketchfab** - large marketplace of 3d assets. Some of them a free. Great source of inspiration! [https://sketchfab.com/](https://sketchfab.com/feed)
* **Blender** - You can build them by yourself obviously. Need to learn the basics but the possibilities are infinite!
* **TurboSquid** - Another large marketplace of 3d assets. Lowpoly or midpoly models are key words. <https://www.turbosquid.com/>
